Sakyo-no-tayu Akisuke, Poet No. 79, circa 1847 - The poem by Sakyo-no-tayu Akisuke (Fujiwara no Akisuke) reads:

See how clear and bright
Is the moonlight finding ways
Through the riven clouds
That, with drifting autumn wind,
Gracefully float in the sky

An attractive design from this interesting series, and one of the few subjects to feature a man rather than a beauty.
