Earthquake, 1849 - 1852 - Interesting depiction of what appears to be an earthquake, with clouds of smoke, debris, and ashes flying upwards among orange flames. A few rooftops are visible on either side of the explosion. A grassy hill frames the scene at lower left with clouds of smoke above it. An intriguing image with fine bokashi shading in the night sky.
