Original Ken Shiozaki (born 1972) Japanese Woodblock Print
Spider-Man in the Ukiyo-e Tradition, 2017
Comments - Great woodblock print depicting Spider-Man crouching on the tiled roof of a Japanese building with a full moon in the night sky. This Marvel copyright image was designed by Ken Shiozaki, and carved and printed in the manner of traditional ukiyo-e woodblocks on washi paper handmade by Ichibei Iwano, who has been designated a Living National Treasure by the Japanese government. It comes in a small windowed viewing folder with a separate text panel in Japanese. A rare collectible design we've never seen outside Japan.
