Adachi was one of the most respected publishers of the 20th century. Their woodblocks were printed to the highest standards with excellent color and fine detail. Ha... of the Southern Station - Wonderful Utamaro portrait of a famous courtesan drying the side of her face with a towel. She smiles as she looks to the side, her hair pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with hairpins. She wears a summer cotton kimono, wrapped loosely about her. Lovely fine detail in the hairline.
