Original Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864) Japanese Woodblock Print
Eavesdropping, 1860

Comments - Great image of a man sitting on a bed eavesdropping, scowling angrily as he tilts his head to listen. The panels lining the side of the room are decorated with woodblock prints, including a blossoming plum tree and a scene of a bird in flight above crashing waves. A handsome design with an interesting setting.
