Original Kunichika (1835 - 1900) Japanese Woodblock Print
Attacking a Beauty and a Blind Girl

Comments - Dramatic kabuki scene of a man preparing to attack a beauty and the young blind girl at her side, raising his umbrella above his head to use it as a weapon. The woman throws her hand out defensively, looking up with a slight smile, her other hand resting on the girl's shoulder. An interesting scene with a nicely detailed interior setting.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 19" + margins as shown
Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two separate panels. A few small holes, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, a few creases and wrinkles. Please see photos for details.
