Miyata Saburo - Printmaker Miyato Saburo is best known for his masterwork sosaku hanga series of 240 woodblocks titled "Scenery of Japan." He also did other series of Japanese landscapes. His lively and colorful designs feature simplified planes of color with stylized black outlines, creating a modern take on the traditional Japanese landscape. Saburo carved and printed each block himself, and each features his circular red artist's seal within the image. This print is from a limited edition of 100, although the print is not individually numbered. See example of publishing information below (not included). These attractive, large format contemporary images are a great choice to collect or display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A couple small thinning spots on reverse at top edge from original mounting. Some prints have a few creases at edges or a couple spots. A few have small wrinkles or ripples at edges from printing process. Please note, due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled.
