Fukagawa Lumberyards - Terrific winter scene of the Fukugawa lumberyards under falling snow, the view dynamically framed by the diagonal wood poles on either side. The blue river below zigzags back and forth as tiny figures move floating lumber along the shore. In the foreground, a yellow umbrella adds to the sense of depth. A few birds fly through the gray sky, and two small dogs can be seen at lower left. A fantastic, atmospheric image, beautifully compose and colored, with fine bokashi shading in the water and sky.
