Lucky Gods Daikoku and Ebisu with a Dog and a Falcon by Eisen (1790 - 1848)

Original Eisen (1790 - 1848) Japanese Woodblock Print
Lucky Gods Daikoku and Ebisu with a Dog and a Falcon

Comments - Charming depiction of two of Japan's beloved Seven Lucky Gods. At left, Daikoku grins happily at his companion as he gestures with his finger, a dog with a red collar at his side. Ebisu smiles back at him, a falcon perched on his hand. Money is scattered across the ground, and the snow-covered peak of Mt. Fuji rises above the clouds in the background. A wonderful image of these popular deities.

Artist - Eisen (1790 - 1848)
Image Size - 14" x 9 7/8" + left margin as shown
Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants and glue residue on reverse at bottom corners from previous mounting. Small loss at edge, tiny wormhole, repaired. Slight soiling and creasing at edges. Please see photos for details.
