Comments - Charming portrait of a beauty playing the shamisen, looking down with a smile as she concentrates on the music. A young girl kneels before her, leaning forward with a covered dish in her hand. Beyond the verandah railing, blossoming cherry trees frame the evening sky. An attractive design, detailed with embossing on the white kimono collar.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)
Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 5/8" + margins as shown
Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small tear at edge, repaired. Creasing, wrinkling, slight toning and soiling, a few small spots. Please see photos for details.
