Comments - Unusual scene of the kabuki actors Ichimura Uzaemon XIII and Kawarazaki Gonjuro I announcing their return to the stage after recovering from measles. The two men kneel on stage, looking up with slightly worried expressions as they lean forward, their hands on the floor before them. A rare Yoshitoshi design, also in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Large tear, small losses at edge, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and rubbing. Please see photos for details.
