Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty kneeling on the floor, one hand atop an armrest at her side. She wears an outer kimono shaded from violet to yellow with a pattern of wicker and peony blossoms over a red orange robe. A clock rests atop a red lacquer stand beside her, while a folding screen at right has insets of fine reed blinds. An interesting design, beautifully detailed with burnishing on the hair and embossing on the white kimono collar and trim.
