Original Hiroshige III (1843 - 1894) Japanese Woodblock Print
Visiting a Shrine

Comments - Attractive view of a shrine in springtime, the grounds crowded with visitors. They stroll along a paved path leading to the entrance of a beautiful, ornate building, a couple men stopping to admire the large paper lanterns hung beneath a roofed structure at right. Blossoming cherry trees add notes of color. An attractive design, nicely colored.

Artist - Hiroshige III (1843 - 1894)
Image Size - 13" x 8 3/4" + margins as shown
Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small loss at corner, small tear at edge, repaired. Slight creasing and soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
