Original Hiroshige III (1843 - 1894) Japanese Woodblock Print
Suburban Tokyo: Kanzeon Gate at Kinryuzan in Asakusa Park, 1894
Comments - Terrific panoramic view of the Kanzeon Raijin Gate at Kinryuzan Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. At right, visitors enter through the gate and stroll along the paved walkways of the grounds, a large temple building at left. Pines and blossoming cherry trees dot the park, and the edge of the pagoda can just be seen at far right. A handsome design.
