Samurai with a Gun, 1854 - Interesting kabuki scene of Umashi no Sansaku in the center, grabbing the obi of his younger sister, Otatsu. He bites his lower lip as he grimaces at her while she tugs on the sash, trying to free herself, her other hand thrown out in alarm. At left, the samurai Jirai Taro watches from behind a bush, frowning with worry, a large gun in his hand. He wears a striking black kimono patterned with dragons over a suit of armor, short hair sticking up atop his head with the longer locks pulled into a low ponytail over his back. Nice expressive figures, detailed with fine bokashi shading in the night sky.
