Kinryuzan Temple at Asakusa - Terrific landscape design from Hiroshige II's "Forty-Eight Famous Views of Edo." This handsome series was published from1860 to 1861, quite early in Hiroshige II's career. These attractive scenes feature classic views of famous landmarks and beautiful scenery in and around Edo, in a variety of seasons. From temples surrounded by blossoming cherry trees to busy harbors or crowded streets, these charming images capture life in old Edo in colorful detail.

Image Size - 9" x 6 1/2" + margins as shown
Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Some soiling and toning. Some thinning at edges. Please see photos for details. Good condition overall.
