Comments - Handsome kacho-e or birds and flowers woodblock with two designs. The top scene shows a bird clinging precariously to a rose bush. Below, a bird flies near a hydrangea covered with multi-colored blossoms. Nicely detailed. A rare uncut page.
Artist - Meiji era artist (not read) Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 1/4" + margins as shown Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Stitching holes at top edge, a few small holes, repaired. Slight soiling and a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details.
