Junction of the Road to Ise, 1875 - Handsome view of the junction in the road where a large torii gate leads to the road to Ise Shrine along the famous Tokaido Road. At left, two men share a light with their pipes as they relax at a tea stand. At right, women with colorful umbrellas ride in a carrier atop a horse. A cherry tree blossoms at left, and Mt. Fuji is visible in blue silhouette on the horizon. An attractive scene from Hiroshige III's Tokaido series.
